1. Mold Maintenance: Reduce Wear & Prevent Deformation
The brick mold is the most frequently worn core component, directly affecting brick forming quality and machine stability. In daily use, the mold cavity will continuously rub against clay containing sediment, resulting in gradual surface wear and dimensional deviation. Operators need to regularly detect mold cavity dimensions with calipers; when the wear difference exceeds 0.3mm, it will affect brick uniformity and need timely repair or replacement. After cleaning the mold every day, spray professional release agent and rust inhibitor to prevent surface oxidation and clay bonding. In addition, check the mold positioning pins regularly to ensure no bending or deformation; misplaced pins will cause uneven mold stress and accelerate local wear. For long-term idle equipment, the mold should be disassembled, cleaned, oiled and stored in a dry environment to avoid rust corrosion.
2. Extrusion Screw & Mixing Shaft Maintenance
The extrusion screw and mixing shaft are responsible for clay stirring, kneading and extrusion, bearing the strongest friction and shear force in the whole production line. These parts are easy to cause blade wear and surface abrasion after long-term operation. It is necessary to regularly check the blade thickness and surface flatness every week. For slightly worn parts, wear-resistant welding repair can be adopted to restore working performance; for severely deformed and worn blades, replace them with original standard accessories in time. It is strictly prohibited to use non-standard accessories with inconsistent material and size, which will cause unbalanced operation, increased equipment vibration and accelerated wear of matching parts.
3. Vibration Motor & Transmission System Maintenance
The vibration system ensures the compactness of clay bricks, and its stable operation is related to the overall forming efficiency of the machine. Regularly check the fixing bolts and eccentric blocks of the vibration motor to prevent loosening caused by long-term vibration, which will lead to abnormal vibration and motor damage. Replace the motor bearing lubricant every 200 working hours to ensure flexible rotation. For the transmission system composed of belts and chains, adjust the tension regularly to avoid slipping and deviation, and replace aging, cracked and stretched belts in time to prevent sudden breakage during production.
4. Timely Replacement of Filter & Sealing Accessories
Small accessories such as hydraulic filters, oil seals and sealing gaskets are easily overlooked, but they play a key role in protecting the core system. The hydraulic filter should be cleaned regularly and replaced every 2 months to prevent impurity clogging from causing abnormal hydraulic pressure. Aging oil seals and gaskets will lead to oil leakage and air inlet of the system, reduce working efficiency, and even cause component dry friction and wear. Replace all failed sealing parts in time to ensure the tightness and stability of the machine’s hydraulic and lubrication system.
