Energy-Saving 12.8m Wide Tunnel Kiln Under Construction in Durban, 350,000 Daily Fired Clay Bricks to Help African Clients Save Running Cost
To adapt to the upgrading demand of the African building materials market and the trend of energy-saving and low-carbon production, our high-efficiency and energy-saving fired clay brick production line has started intensive construction in Durban, South Africa. The project adopts a customized super-large 12.8m tunnel kiln as the core firing equipment, with a designed maximum stable capacity of 350,000 fired clay bricks per day, creating a new benchmark for high-output and low-energy-consumption brick production in Southern Africa.

The core advantage of this wide-body tunnel kiln lies in its independent optimized energy-saving system. The equipment is equipped with a professional waste heat recovery and reuse module, which can fully recycle the residual heat generated during the high-temperature firing process, and apply the recycled waste heat to the pre-drying link of wet brick blanks. This highly efficient heat circulation mode greatly reduces the consumption of coal, natural gas and other fuels, effectively cuts down production operating costs, and significantly reduces factory carbon emissions, meeting the international low-carbon environmental protection production standards.
In terms of production quality, the ultra-wide 12.8m cross-section design realizes multi-row simultaneous firing of brick blanks. The internal temperature difference of the kiln body is small, the firing atmosphere is stable, and the finished bricks feature uniform color, high hardness and stable quality. Compared with traditional small kilns with narrow sections and discontinuous production, our new-generation large tunnel kiln fundamentally solves the problems of low output, high energy consumption and high defective rate of traditional brick production equipment.

After long-term market verification and project iteration, our energy-savingtunnel kiln technology has been successfully applied in many countries in Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. The smooth construction of the Durban project once again proves our leading technical advantages in the field of high-efficiency fired clay brick production equipment. We continue to provide global brick factory investors with personalized energy-saving transformation and new plant construction solutions to help customers maximize production benefits.
