Product Details
Industrial tunnel kiln for clay bricks
,Tunnel kiln for ceramic manufacturing
,Clay brick tunnel kiln plant equipment
A Tunnel Kiln is an industrial continuous firing device widely used in the ceramics, brick, and glass industries. Designed with an elongated tunnel structure, it allows green bricks or ceramic products to move gradually through distinct temperature zones on kiln cars, ensuring high temperature consistency and continuous mass production. Depending on your production requirements, cross-section width options include 2.4m, 3.5m, 4.6m, and 6.9m. The structure features a heavy-duty suspended roof with refractory bricks or a splicing-type hanging structure with aluminum silicate fiber modules. The length of the kiln car is customized to match specific product specifications.
Technical Parameters
| Tunnel inside width | Height of above kiln car surface | Daily capacity | 10,000 brick firing fuel consumption |
| 2.4m | 1.6–2 m | ≥80,000 pieces | < 49×10⁶ KJ |
| 3.5m | 1.6–2 m | ≥150,000 pieces | < 49×10⁶ KJ |
| 4.6m | 1.6–2 m | ≥200,000 pieces | < 49×10⁶ KJ |
| 6.9m | 1.6–2 m | ≥300,000 pieces | < 49×10⁶ KJ |
Main Structural Components
1. Main Tunnel Body: Elongated passage equipped with heavy-duty tracks or rollers to support and transport green bricks through the firing cycle.
2. Preheating Zone: Slowly elevates brick temperature to evaporate internal moisture, preventing cracking during firing.
3. Firing Zone: The high-temperature core where green bricks undergo complete sintering.
4. Cooling Zone: Gradually lowers the temperature of fired bricks to ensure thermal stability and safe unloading.
5. Combustion System: Includes precision burners, gas/oil supply manifolds, and smoke exhaust systems.
6. Ventilation System: Regulates airflow to maintain thermal uniformity and complete fuel combustion.
7. Drive System: Motorized chain or roller drive mechanisms for steady kiln car propulsion.
Firing Adaptability & Thermal Cycles
-Fuel Versatility: Compatible with natural gas, heavy oil, or producer gas. Burners are mounted on the top or sidewalls based on kiln width.
-Reference Firing Cycles:
- -Standard Bricks: 32h – 40h
- -Perforated Bricks: 28h – 36h
- -Hollow Bricks: 24h – 30h
