Top 7 Tips to Maximize Crusher Production in Sintered Brick Manufacturing
For sintered brick manufacturers, improving production efficiency is the core of reducing costs and increasing profits. Among all production links, the crushing process is a key bottleneck—jaw crushers and hammer crushers, as the core equipment of the crushing line, their production capacity directly affects the output of the entire sintered brick production line. How to improve crusher output without sacrificing the particle size of crushed materials? Here are 7 professional and practical tips.
1. Proper feeding is the foundation. The uniform distribution of materials along the feeder inlet and filling the crushing chamber can not only make the jaw plates wear evenly but also ensure that the crusher works at full load, avoiding the waste of production capacity caused by insufficient feeding.
2. Ensure sufficient amplitude of the feeder. The feeder’s amplitude directly affects the feeding speed. By adjusting the knob on the control box within the rated range, the feeding speed can be steplessly adjusted to match the crushing capacity of the crusher, achieving synchronous operation and maximizing output.
3. Avoid foreign objects and unqualified materials. Iron blocks entering the crushing chamber will cause serious damage to the jaw plates and other components, while over-sized materials or excessive material height will block the crushing chamber, leading to production interruption. Strictly controlling the feeding quality is the premise of stable production.
4. Optimize the discharge port setting. The size of the discharge port directly relates to the crushing efficiency and the load of the subsequent process. Too small or too large a discharge port will affect the output—adjust according to the required particle size and subsequent process needs to achieve the best balance.
5. Correctly adjust the discharge port opening. The adjustment of the discharge port opening is realized by increasing or decreasing the adjustment gasket behind the swing rod seat plate. When measuring the set distance, pay attention to the position of the upper eccentric shaft to ensure accurate measurement. After adjustment, the tension spring should not be compressed too much to avoid fatigue damage.
6. Regularly inspect and maintain jaw plates. The jaw plates are vulnerable parts, and their wear status directly affects the crushing efficiency. Regularly check the wear degree, and invert, exchange or replace the jaw plates according to different wear conditions to ensure the crushing effect.
7. Do a good job in lubrication maintenance. Bearings are the core components of the crusher, and high-quality lubrication can ensure their performance and service life. Clean the oil nozzle and grease gun before adding grease to avoid dust entering the bearing box, and replace the support rod and tension spring every 2-3 years.
