Tunnel Kiln Hydraulic Ferry Car Maintenance Operation Guide

As key mobile hydraulic equipment for brick factory tunnel kilns, hydraulic ferry cars bear frequent start-stop and heavy-load transportation work during long-term operation. Scientific and standardized daily maintenance and regular inspection can effectively extend the service life of equipment, reduce failure downtime, and ensure the stable operation of kiln transportation links. This article comprehensively elaborates on the full set of maintenance specifications for tunnel kiln hydraulic ferry cars, covering daily inspection, regular lubrication and oil replacement standards.

Daily shift inspection is the foundation of equipment stable operation. Every shift, operators and maintenance personnel must check the contact state between all wheels and tracks of the ferry car to ensure close contact without deviation, jamming or abnormal wear, so as to avoid vehicle jitter and positioning deviation during operation. Meanwhile, inspect the sealing performance of all hydraulic components and pipeline joints comprehensively to eliminate oil leakage phenomena, which is crucial to maintaining stable hydraulic pressure and normal positioning function.

During the walking operation of the ferry car, real-time monitoring of the operating state of core power components is required, including the reducer, driving motor and transmission gears. Pay attention to abnormal noise, vibration and heating phenomena, and stop the machine in time for inspection and troubleshooting once abnormal conditions are found, to prevent minor faults from evolving into major equipment failures.

Regular lubrication maintenance is the core of reducing equipment wear. For the wheel bearings of the ferry car, add molybdenum disulfide or calcium-based grease every shift to ensure flexible bearing rotation and reduce friction loss. The rotating gears need to be filled with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease every day to maintain good transmission performance. In terms of lubricating oil selection and replacement, the equipment has strict standard specifications. The reducer and hydraulic fuel tank shall be replaced with new oil for the first time after half a year of use, and then maintained with annual oil replacement. The hydraulic fuel tank adopts 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil in conventional seasons and switches to 32# anti-wear hydraulic oil in winter to adapt to low-temperature working environment. The walking reducer is lubricated with 20# or 30# mechanical oil to meet the transmission lubrication demand.

In addition, the hydraulic system has a clear pressure control standard, and the working pressure of the oil pump must be kept below 6.3Mpa. Excessive pressure will cause overload of hydraulic components, accelerated wear and even pipeline damage. Strictly implementing the above maintenance specifications can keep the hydraulic ferry car in optimal operating state, reduce equipment failure rate, and create stable production conditions for brick factory tunnel kiln operation.
